Snapshot from Utah

New Iron Mountain (left) and Dream Peak at Canyons from the Lookout Cabin restaurant terrace.
Advertising manager Dave Ashmore has recently been in Colorado and Utah, and sent us a couple of snaps from the Canyons Resort in Utah – where good snow continues in the US. Both Utah and Colorado have experienced some bumper snowfalls this season, and there has been some variable but great spring skiing in recent weeks.
The pictures show the new developments this season, where there are swanky new lifts and expanded terrain to explore now. The new Iron Mountain area is an entirely new mountain to explore, with various slopes of all levels served by a new chair.

And in case you wondered about Colorado too … April started with good snowfalls in Beaver Creek and Vail, for example. Cover remains excellent. Dave also sent us this picture from Vail’s Vista Bahn area, taken on 7 April, looking lovely and sunny but with plenty of snow!
