I guess it is no worse than attaching a video camera to your helmet ...
A US company, Liquid Image, has launched the first pair of ski goggles that incorporate a camera. The goggle contains a wide angle lens, high-definition video camera, so you can film your boarding or skiing hands-free. The five mega-pixel unit has camera and video modes. It starts with 16MB of memory, which can be expanded with a Micro SD card. It holds over 2,000 images or 2 hours of video.
The unit is easy to operate, fitted with an on/off button and mode switch. Just turn it on and select the mode you want, then press and ... go.
So, next season’s new gadget? Well, the goggles will be available from May 2010 for approximately £100.
