Snow report update from Rose in Valmorel, France 11/01/10
Three days of predicted heavy snow turned out to be three days of “snow-lite”, but I suppose it all adds up. We went out yesterday when the sun shone, but it was bitterly cold and there were banks of fog – the sort of day when rainbow ice particles glitter in the air. It was -10C. The snow was in good condition and most pistes are now open and uncrowded.
