I posted a comment a couple of months back about Strolz ski boots of Lech. It was just really to update anyone who is thinking about them.
Got a pair last week and Ok they did cost around £500 and the fitting experience was pretty sore. But they are without doubt the best ski boots I have ever had. The are so comfortable and did improve my skiing - everything seems to move in one movement now.
Got speaking to a few Germanic types on chair lifts etc who were wearing them before I bought them, and they all swore by them with the average pair lasting around 12-15 years.
So if you’re ever in the Arlberg region it might be worth a trip to the big Strolz shop in Lech to get an appointment (you will need an appointment as they only make 30 appointments per day and get booked up quickly).

Noticed this year that the Ski World shop in Obertauern are official Strolz partners.

Larry Adler ski shops have the Australian agency for them. I plan to get a pair this winter [Aus winter-August]. They cost around 4AUD1,250 here
