A friend of mine has returned from La Tania having had a great week. Was very impressed with the location for skiing Courchevel & Meribel - great for kids and adults..
Great run back into La Tania and she was told that they are snow cannoning the red run and links from courchevel to La Tania in readiness for nxt season- which will be good..
Think they stayed with Ski Power - who were very good, lovely chalets..

Has anyone else been to La Tania???

Hi Philippa

La Tania is a nice location but lower down than Meribel and Courchevel 1850. Snow cannonning the run back should help otherwise it can be dodgy.

The great thing is that you can get cheaper appartments in La Tania than elsewhere and I nearly bought one there about 3 years ago (87k? for one bedroom appartment).

I do not know about these Ski Power chalets but you need to check how close they are to the gondala.

Hi

Been to La Tania, its compact and a good location, easy to get over to Courchevel, there is a red and a blue back into the resort. The blue has snow cannons and they should be putting them in on the red for this comming season. We bought a three valleys pass, mistake should have stuck with just Courchevel, and bought the odd day to go over to Meribel.

We stayed with Ski Amis, Chalet Christine, big chalet easy to get into down using the public lift, but have alook at latania.co.uk lots of other operators as well.
