Hi all

Can anyone recommend childcare in Les Arcs 1950?

We have a 5 month old who we’d like looking after for 2 or 3 afternoons.

So far I’ve tracked down Snowlittle based in Bourg, and SafeHandsFrance that cater for the whole of Paradiski.
Anyone used these companies before? Good / bad / indifferent experiences? Use them again? Did the kids have a good time?

I know there’s a creche in Peissy (inconvenient), and the Cariboo Club will only take 9+ months, but are there any other alternatives I may have missed.

Cheers

We have used the creche in the Cachette Hotel in Arc 1600 when I son was 4 or 5 years old. They were OK.  I suspect that for a 5 month old the fact that the majority of the children are French will not make that much difference. I also suspect they may not take someone as young as 5 months.

I do recall on odd occasions seeing baby sitting notices posted around Arc 1600, but I have no personal experience of them.

You could try phoning the tourist office and asking them if they know of any baby sitters. It may also be worth trying the natives web site to see if any seasonaires would like to earn some extra money.

Sorry not to be much help.
