Fed up with your normal bend ze knees instructor?  For those of you really wanting to progress your skiing, I highly recommend the above.

I’ve just completed a summer week in Saas-Fee. Warren and the team are all excellent. The teaching is first class, and frankly it’s the most fun I’ve ever had on the slopes.

Warren runs several courses in Verbier during the winter. I’m going back in February.

I cannot stress what great value this is. In a week I found my skiing so much stronger (and I thought I was quite good before I went).

Don’t think about it just do it! You won’t regret it! You get to ride with some of the best freeriders in the business, so what’s to think about!

Next year try Snoworks - they are excellent too - I had a great week in St Anton on their Back Country course this Jan and friends who have used them are also enthusiastic.

And another to consider is Ali Ross in Tignes - a great character who achieves results with all grades of people

...Or just get his DVDs. They’re much cheaper and really useful and you can use the money you save to buy an extra week skiing!

Sorry Warren - your DVDs are too good.

I have heard the Warren Smith courses are really good. Have also heard there is lots of other dodgy ones so well worth checking it out before you go (and pay!)

Yes, there are some decent performance clinics around.

We’re planning to get this listed on our forthcoming new website. Keep the reviews coming ...

Agree the DVD’s are excellent too - I’ll often watch mine in the run-up to trips, as a helpful reminder of what I ought to be doing technique-wise!
