Bmibaby announce new Grenoble flights
Low cost airline bmibaby is to operate flights to Grenoble from Manchester next winter.
The new weekly flights will start in October and are expected to be popular - the French airport has seen a steady growth recently as a closer option for reaching the southern Alps.
In response to a good season for the Pyrenees this year, the airline has also decided to continue with winter flights to Toulouse. But flights to Lyon will be scrapped.
The Grenoble flight will be the first time that Bmibaby has used the airport and it predicts that it is likely to attract around 4,000 passengers on the route next season.
