Baboo no more ...

.
Swiss airline Baboo will not be operating flights from Oxford or London City to Geneva this winter.
The airline did not find the level of interest in the routes to sustain operations. And reviewing plans for the coming season, the company has decided to axe the flights and focus on its other European destinations.
The Oxford route had only run for one season, offering skiers and boarders in the south an alternative to the major airports – and with the added attraction of carrying equipment for free.
The London City route was also promoted heavily as a slick way for city dwellers to reach the Alps for the weekend, but it seems this too is no longer viable.
For air travel without the ski equipment carriage charges: Air Berlin is worth a look, and Swiss International.
