It’s snowboard time! Whet your appetite for the coming winter with a boarders’-only event: The Big Bang Snowboard Show 2009 is on the road.

Big Bang combines all the elements of the usual consumer shows, plus snowboard film premiers from Unleash the Lens and demos of the season’s cool new gear. New for the event this year is an enhanced coaching programme with onesnowboarding.co.uk, Roxy and snowboardcoach.co.uk

So you can try, ride and buy everything snowboard-related. And some of the UK’s top riders and instructors will be hanging out to answer any questions.

Best of all, the show is free to enter – you’ll only pay for any time spent riding the slope.

Big Bang is now lined-up for three UK snow centres in October, starting with Braehead Glasgow at the weekend (3 October). But riders in Scotland can catch a special screening of Unleash the Lens in Edinburgh on Friday 2 October. The mini-show kicks off at Amicus Apple in the city and includes three snowboard films. Go shred!
