Dave Watts shortlisted for World Ski Award

Where to Ski and Snowboard’s co-editor Dave Watts has been shortlisted for a World Ski Award.

Dave, who is also Executive Editor of the Daily Mail Ski and Snowboard magazine, has been nominated for the “Polar Bear” award, for his outstanding contribution to the ski industry.

Other Polar Bear nominees include TV presenter and former British downhill skier Graham Bell, Snow + Rock founder Mike Browne and American freestyle skier and moviemaker Glen Plake.

The World Ski Awards, run by VOS Media, honour resorts, airlines, manufacturers and individuals within the ski industry. The Polar Bear award is one of three special awards for 2012 to celebrate Daily Mail Ski and Snowboard’s 25th anniversary.

Judging will take place on Thursday (13 September), with the winners at an London awards ceremony on Friday 2 November.
