Festive ski bargains

Winter wonderlands
While the rock-bottom holiday bargains are fewer this winter, there are some decent savings on peak week dates – and Christmas may have come early if you can snap up this one in France …
The team at Ifyouski.com think that £269 half-board to Serre Chevalier might catch a bit of attention. Depart from Luton on 19 December, staying in the Clubhotel Grand Aigle for a week and pay just £269 if four of you share a room! But even if you want to keep it as a cosy couple, it is just £339 (was £549). For that you’ll get chalet board, flights and transfers.
Tempted?
Staying south, if you don’t get that one you could go for Alpe d’Huez and Thomson’s Chalet Telemark. It’s a 3-star chalet sleeping 18 and the price has been reduced to £599 per person (saving you £236) - a good price for costly France this year.
For apartment fans, Ski Collection is offering up to 30% selected resorts and lodging for Christmas week.
We’ll bring you some more deals shortly.
