New season-opener event for Les Deux Alpes

Les Deux Alpes has traditionally launched its new winter season with a couple of weekend festivals in October, some partying and glacier skiing until the main season gets going.

This year, the renowned ‘Mondial du Ski / Snowboard’ events - gear-testing, friendly freestyle festival and celebratory parties are making way for the all-new Rock on Snowboard Tour.

Rock on Snowboard will feature many of the same elements as the Mondial, notably the equipment testing on the glacier. Try out what’s new this winter before you buy – or simply have a go before anyone else does …

There will also be a ‘Rider Hero’ competition in the park; it will be a friendly, amateur event with prizes for various elements. And no weekend would be complete without a bit of glacier skiing and a party or two.
