Oman's first indoor snow centre will feature a dry slope and indoor snow facilities

Oman’s first indoor snow centre which will be located within the Mall of Muscat, began construction in 2015 and is due to open early next year.

The 5,600 square metre centre will feature a dry ski slope as well as indoor snow facilities.

The centre will use the latest in chemical-free snow technology, and will offer approx 21 different ice and snow themed rides, including a snow mobile track that will weave its way through a large area of the park. Other attractions, many of which are known to be world firsts, will include snow bumper cars, snow mobiles, a snow carousel, snow diggers, snow slides, snow scooters, ice climbing wall, snowball challenge, snowball arena, Alpine theatre and an ice skating rink.

The centre will be located on the third level of the mall and is being developed by The Al Jarwani Group in partnership with “Unlimited Snow” and Tamani Entertainment.
