Parents go free at Chill Factor

Chill Factor, Manchester
Manchester’s Chill Factor indoor ski centre has come up with the perfect plan to keep the kids occupied during the summer holidays, while keeping the costs down: parents get free passes to join in the fun.
For every full paying junior, one parent can join in a wide range of activities for free until the end of August. These activities include ski and board taster sessions, tubing, a luge and and air-boarding. There are age restrictions for the children on some sports – only the over 8’s can have a go at air-boarding; but the tobogganing and snow play areas are available to the over 4-year olds.
Ski and snowboard lessons are available too, or the whole family can escape the wintry scene and scale the centre’s 12ft climbing wall.
After all that exercise, which has hopefully worn out the kids, there are various cafes for lunch on site to refuel and unwind.
The centre is open daily, and until 10pm most nights.
