Davos and Klosters are allowing visitors to pay what they want for a ski pass

The Swiss ski resorts of Davos and Klosters have launched a campaign allowing visitors to pay what they want for their ski passes.

Following on from cost-saving initiatives in Crans Montana and Verbier, from 16 to 31 March, skiers who stay a minimum of two nights in eleven different participating hotels around Davos and Klosters can pay as much as they like for a ski pass.

To take part, book a two-night stay in the Davos Klosters resort holiday shop, and receive a voucher with your booking confirmation to “negotiate” a two-day lift pass when you check in. The participating hotel then pays the difference to the resort.

The snag? Weekends are not included — this offer is valid only from Sunday evening to Friday morning.

Participating hotels

DAVOS
ArtHaus Hotel
Hilton Garden Inn
Hotel Ducan Monstein
Hotel Edelweiss
Hotel Seehof
Solaria Ferienwohnungen

KLOSTERS
Hotel Rustico
Silvretta Parkhotel
Schlosshotel Vereina
