Rail Europe cuts prices

(c) Rail Europe
Rail Europe has announced a special offer on selected rail services to the French Alps, until 16 February.
Skiers and boarders wanting to take the train can save up to 75% on the cost of an adult full-fare ticket, if booking before 31 January for travel between 20 January and 16 February 2012.
The promotion offers overnight journeys to ski destinations including Bourg St Maurice, Moûtiers and Aime la Plagne and to Nice (for the southern French Alps, such as Isola 2000). It applies to selected domestic services and TGV between France and Germany, Geneva-Mediterranean.
One-way fares from Paris start at just £11.50 per person in standard class on high speed daytime TGV services. Prices are from £37 per person in a 6-berth couchette on overnight services.
Note: All the special offer tickets are non-exchangeable and non-refundable, and the 75% saving is based on a normal full fare ticke (standard or first class).
Seats at the special offer fares are limited. And tickets must be booked at least three days prior to departure.
