Roof skiing?

Don't try this at home
One skier found a novel way to enjoy Britain’s snowfall: off-piste on the roof of The Snow Centre in Hemel Hempstead.
Director of the ski school at the centre Peter Gillespie was spotted skiing a few short turns down the 160m long roof – sparking calls to the police from concerned onlookers.
But the 39-year-old instructor later reported: ‘there is so much bad news about the snow. We thought we would try and make some fun out of what has caused trouble for so many people.’
With over 10cm snow covering the roof, Gillespie thoroughly enjoyed his little adventure. But don’t try this at home … he is a pro! We preferred to step out on a pair of ‘Big Feet’ short skis and go for a few powder turns down the local hill.
