Ski school apps launched

.
Everyone is going phone-app crazy at the moment, so why not one for learning to ski?
Elate Media has launched a set of learn-to-ski apps for Apple i-phone, touch and pad users, which is a series of simple lessons for all levels of skiers.
The idea? Your portable instructor, explaining technique and tips clearly and simply in video format that you can study anywhere from the comfort of your chalet, to a quick revision before your real class. The apps use video filmed in France’s Hautes-Alpes, and created to complement on-slope lessons.
There are four versions: beginner, intermediate, advanced and lite. If you’re wondering about the instructor - he’s Darren, an experienced guide and former member of England’s ski team.
The Lite version is free, but the others cost £3.99 each.
