Swiss International to continue Manchester route
By popular demand ... Swiss International Airlines has announced that it will continue to operate flights between Manchester and Geneva this winter.
This is good news for skiers and boarders in North-West Britain, a region which has lost out in cut-backs recently - notably services operated by low-cost carrriers Ryanair and easyJet.
Flights will run on Sundays from 20 December, and on Saturdays from Boxing Day - until 11 April 2010. Return fares start at £76.80 and your skis and board are carried for free; the airline is one of the few not to impose additional charges.
