Whether you are a diehard ski fan, or prefer to mix your holiday up a bit with a few relaxing pastimes, going on a girlie holiday to the snow is being encouraged.

Resorts are offering reductions and incentives to tempt more women to the mountains, and Morzine in the French Alps has a couple of March deals.

It does not have to be an all-girl week, but any women who plan to visit the resort on the dedicated weeks in March can take advantage of a ‘well being’ workshop or a reduction on the price of a package – including accommodation and lift pass.

Travel between 10 and 17 March, and take advantage of a ‘well being’ workshop. This means that women can try two different relaxation activities for free during their week. Choose from yoga, tai-chi, stretching classes and reflexology; plus vitality walks (such as Nordic walking) and more.

The only stipulation is that holidays are booked through Morzine Reservations, where you’ll buy a package for the week that includes two of the workshops free of charge. Keen attendees can try out more classes too, at a fee.

For women who would rather ski all day and can get away from 18 to 24 March, the resort is offering a 30% discount on hotel packages (lodging plus a lift pass). Again, this has to be booked through the Morzine Reservations centre. Smaller reductions on packages outside of these weeks are also available.
