Summary
Campiglio may come second to Cortina for glitz and scenery, but the slopes around it are more extensive, and better linked. The outlying sectors, including Pinzolo, offer some of the best skiing, and it all adds up to a good-sized area
News – this season 2011/12
The long-awaited gondola link between the Cinque Laghi sector of slopes and Pinzolo, due last season, is expected to open. On Grostè the Boch chair is to be replaced by a fast quad, with an additional blue run.
News – last season
Above Madonna, several new pistes were created. A new terrain park was built at Pradalago.
A new fixed-grip quad chairlift opened above Marilleva, between Val Panciana and Doss della Pesa.
At Pinzolo, an eight-person gondola opened, starting from Tulot (just outside the town) and serving new, good-looking black and red runs.
