Summary
The Stubaier Gletscher ranks alongside Hintertux as one of the most extensive and rewarding glacier ski areas in the Alps. Neustift is the nearest major village, 20km away. But another 5km down-valley, livelier Fulpmes is at the base of the Stubaital’s best low-altitude area, Schlick 2000.
