Summary

The Stubaier Gletscher ranks alongside Hintertux as one of the most extensive and rewarding glacier ski areas in the Alps. Neustift is the nearest major village, 20km away. But another 5km down-valley, livelier Fulpmes is at the base of the Stubaital’s best low-altitude area, Schlick 2000.

News – 2012/13

On the glacier, the Rotadl slow quad is being moved to serve Daunjoch, and replaced by a fourth six-pack.

News – 2010/11

At the glacier, the Eisgrat restaurant complex was rebuilt, including a smooth table-service section. And there’s a new family boardercross. At Schlick 2000, the Panorama table-service restaurant opened downstairs at Kreuzjoch.
