Where to Ski And Snowboard -

Review of St Anton

The following has been copied from a posting to the Resorts forum thread, by Boabski. Bear in mind that it was not originally intended to be a full resort review, so may cover a narrow area of interest.
You can stay and get there pretty cheaply - I booked a B&B right on the slope down from the Mooserwirt for 65 euros a night. The St Anton website (http://www.stantonamarlberg.com)is really good for finding accommodation - stay in the following areas - Dorf (centre) Oberdorf (from centre towards Mooserwirt) or Nasserein (just down from the main street and has own gondola).
I stayed at Rendlehof a few years ago. Good accommodation and linked to the Arlberg hotel - where the meals and facilities are all excellent. We stayed at Arlberg the year before that and the whole set up is excellent. Both are in Nasserein, but only 3-4minute walk max to the centre and the Nasserein gondola (in the other direction).
The boys stayed at Sport a couple of years ago - which was not as good as either the Arlberg and Rendlhof. Last year the Post was the pick of the bunch. It is pricey but cracking location. You also get a free pass to the Postkellar below the hotel - for great après-ski.
