Review of Kitzbühel

I drop in on Kitz every year or two, and many years ago developed the classic love-hate relationship that I have with so many Austrian resorts. When it’s good, it’s fab. But so often the fabness is obscured by the mediocre snow conditions near the town, with the need to slog out to Pass Thurn to get anything resembling powder. Of course, snow happens - for long periods last year, for example - and when it does it’s a lovely spot.
