Review of Davos
If you have the money (and at 1.3 CHF to the £ you will need it) then there are few places you will enjoy as much as Davos. The skiing is immense – forget the official km – Davos feels big and the sensation of travel adds to this even more. The long Parsenn runs are do-able by early intermediates. The Jakobshorn offers challenges to better intermediates – beware the two blues back to Davos Platz (they should be red) and Rinerhorn and Madrisa each offer something too.
There are drawbacks – too many t-bars – which only slowly are being addressed, and prices are high. But there is some excellent skiing here and if you can afford it you will have a great time here.
