Get ready to celebrate 1950’s style. Erna Low has announced the official completion of Arc 1950.

The award-winning Arc 1950 le village is celebrating its completion with the opening of the latest residences: Le Manoir Savoir and Le Chalet de Lys. And to mark the occasion, there will be a special weekend celebration in December.

The party

Grab your poodle skirt and twin-set, leathers and brylcreem, and go like grease lightening to France this December. Saturday 15 and Sunday 16 are set to host a season launch party like no other: Arc 1950 will step back in time with a full programme of themed 1950s events, a gala evening, shows, fireworks and other spectacular ceremonies. Join in the fun and kick-start the 2007/08 in style.

Erna Low has apartments available to rent from £594 per week (based on six people sharing).

The properties

Arc 1950 is the result of a five-year project by Canadian developers Intrawest, and completes their first European venture. UK representative, Erna Low, has worked closely with Intrawest to market the village for property sales and as a holiday destination: the company has recently announced a complete sell-out of its 750 apartments and has been appointed to handle all re-sales.

Le Manoir Savoir (129 apartments) and Le Chalet de Lys (92 apartments) meet the same 4-star standard as the other six residences. In total, Arc 1950 now caters for 3900 guests. The latest additions will be operated by Radisson SAS / Intrawest Lodging and offer fully-equipped apartments, with covered parking, bars, supermarket and access to pool and spa facilities.

The paradise

Arc 1950 forms part of Les Arcs, in the French Alps. Situated at 1950m, the traditional style village enjoys a good snow record, a ski-in ski-out location with fabulous views of Mont Blanc, and access to 425km/264 miles pistes across the Paradiski region - which the resort shares with La Plagne.

The village will be represented at the Metro Ski and Snowboard Show, London Olympia, from 24 to 28 October - stand 717f in the World Resorts Village.
