Online ski instructor booking platform SkiBro has announced it is working in four new resorts — La Rosière, Châtel, La Tania and Saint Martin de Belleville — and has announced plans to expand to Austria on top of the 14 resorts it opened for bookings in December. And it has offered Where to Ski & Snowboard readers CHF20 off their first booking.

SkiBro allows skiers and snowboarders to book a lesson instantly with an instructor, guide or school of their choice, whatever their level. Children, teenagers, families, aspiring freestylers, off-piste lessons, ski touring and splitboarding trips — everyone is catered for, from first-timers to seasoned pros.

Launched last season in Val d’Isère and the Three Valleys in France, SkiBro now offers private lessons with hand-picked independent instructors and group lessons with ski and snowboard schools in Val d’Isère, Tignes, Sainte Foy Tarentaise, Les Arcs, La Plagne, Courchevel, Méribel, Les Menuires, Val Thorens, Chamonix, Les Gets, Morzine and Avoriaz in France — as well as Verbier and Zermatt in Switzerland.

“Next up SkiBro are excited to get stuck in to the Austrian market, launching with independent instructors and ski schools in St Anton and across the Arlberg, as well as in Chamonix, Megeve and Courmayeur in time for last minute half term bookings,” says SkiBro spokesman Matt Carr.

Users can look up a ski schools or instructor in the resort of their choice, watch a profile video and read client reviews of their prospective instructor, and exchange messages if need be to ensure they’re booking the school best suited to their needs or those of their kids. This week, SkiBro announced it is live in the French ski resorts of La Rosière, Châtel, La Tania and Saint Martin de Belleville — with more growth expected this season.

SkiBro also offers unique “adventures”, including a Cinematic pack that includes a day with an instructor and cinematographer with GoPro, drone, gimbals and more — to make your own ski movie on the piste (or off it). The package retails at €960 for a full day, after which you will receive a professionally edited full video.

SkiBro has offered Where to Ski & Snowboard readers CHF20 off their first booking — whether that’s for the cinematic pack or a private ski lesson, family lesson or touring trip. Take your pick using the app or online at skibro.com and use the code WTSS.
