Famous Snow Train axed for next winter

Rail Europe has announced that the Snow Train to the French Alps won’t be running next winter.

The company blames the poor exchange rates and operating costs for its decision not to run the famous party train - an overnight ski rail service that was well known for its disco carriage and party atmosphere.

Alternatives are still available through Eurostar - which has just released ticket sales for next winter.
