X marks the spot…

Get on down to Ischgl for a bit of X-factor performance to stomp in the new season:  Special guest pop star, Britain’s Leona Lewis will perform at Ischgl’s legendary opening concert, along with Australian teenager, Gabriella Cilmi.

The two teenage singers will launch the Austrian resort’s new season on Saturday 29 November.

Gabriella was born in Australia but has gained popularity in Britain and the rest of Europe with her debut single ‘Sweet About Me’ - which rocketed into the charts last March.  The singer then made her UK TV debut last December when she sang on ‘Later with Jools Holland’. Another single featured in the film St Trinian’s.

Leona Lewis rose to stardom after winning the talent show ‘The X Factor’ in 2006. Her debut album, Spirit, became the fastest selling debut album of all time, and the single Bleeding Love was top of the UK charts for seven weeks.

All you need to gain entrance to the concert is a valid lift pass; a one-day ski and concert ticket will cost 55 euros, or if you’re up there for the weekend - two days will be 74.50 euros. The concert kicks off in the resort at 6pm on Friday 29 November.
