Telegraph readers vote Zermatt best resort

Zermatt is the best ski resort in the world, according to Telegraph newspaper readers.

The Ultratravel 100 readers’ poll covered everything from luxury travel to airlines and spas. Results have just been published and some of the world’s classiest and most popular ski destinations ranked in the top ten, including Aspen, St Moritz, Val d’Isere and Whistler. But it was Zermatt that stole the top slot - as winner of the Best Worldwide Ski Resort.

Zermatt is one of Switzerland’s top destinations, both in summer and winter. It exudes Alpine charm and the slopes offer world-class skiing and boarding. It is consistently ranked top for on-mountain dining, dramatic scenery and endless cruising and off-piste that crosses the border into Italy. And it’s one of WTSS’s favourites too…
