The Swiss ski resort of Les Diablerets staged an incredible acrobatic show this week to mark its reopening after the Covid-19 lockdown.
Stunts by circus performers Sheila Nicolodi, Ramon Kathriner, Freddy Nock and David Maillard during the Glacier 3000 Air Show included an astonishing Wheel of Death — where Ramon climbed onto a nine-metre revolving metal pendulum on the side of a mountain dressed in black tie.
During the show Freddy, wearing a top emblazoned with a Swiss flag, broke three world records while balancing, cycling and walking blindfolded along the cables of ski lift at 3000m. There was also motorbiking on a wire and balancing and performing atop a swaying pole.
