Aldi claims it can kit out a skier for just £59.94 this year

Get ready for the annual dash for ski kit at budget supermarket Aldi, which this year says it can completely kit out an adult skier for just £59.94.

Every year, Aldi includes ski wear in its regular “specialbuys” and this year it will go on sale 3 December, with a few new pieces in the range including a video camera along the same lines as a GoPro, but priced £29.99 and compression base layers priced at £8.99.

Aldi’s action camera is just £29.99

Aldi’s ski getup for £59.94 includes adult ski trousers for £16.99, jackets at £19.99, base layers at £8.99, ski tops at £4.99, ski socks for £3.99 and ski gloves for £4.99.
If you’re looking for more technical kit, Aldi has produced a “Pro” range, with waterproof, windproof jackets and pants from £19.99, compression base layers for £8.99, merino base layers for £14.99 and leather-faced ski gloves for £19.99.

There are goggles for £7.99, helmets for adults (£19.99) and children (£16.99), snow suits for children (£9.99) and new for this year an action camcorder with 135° wide-angle lens, 720p resolution and recording at 30 frames per second — for only £29.99.

As with all of Aldi’s “Specialbuys”, once they’re gone, they’re gone.
