The supermarket chain Aldi has launched its 2019 skiwear range, which is available to pre-order now and will be in stores from Sunday, 20 January.

Aldi’s new “Ski Pro” collection comprises three-in-one jackets and pants, midlayers, socks, snow boots, gloves and mitts and even so faux-fur accessories for wearing off the slopes, too. The “three-in-one jacket”, at £89.99, is the most highly priced item and only available online. It combines a hard shell and down interior with adjustable storm hood, which Aldi says is completely windproof and waterproof. There are matching three-layer ski trousers — both jacket and trousers come in men’s and women’s versions — for £49.99, also only available online.

But swing by one of Aldi’s 800 stores around the UK, and you can pick up less expensive jackets and pants for £34.99 and £29.99 respectively, as well as base layers for £8.99 and ski socks for £4.99 a pair. Merino midlayers cost £29.99, while snow boots start at £11.99 for children and £17.99 for adults. The supermarket chain says adults can be kitted out for £58.94, juniors for £43.94 and children for £27.96.

While the entire range is available for pre-order online now, much of the Ski Specialbuy range will be available in store from Sunday — with the usual Aldi premise that when items are sold out, they won’t be replenished. To see the full range visit aldi.co.uk
