It might be April, but the snow hasn’t stopped, and the Austrian resort of Ischgl is already gearing up to its season finale “Top of the Mountain” concert.

The record-breaking US band Thirty Seconds to Mars has been booked to close the ski season in Ischgl on Saturday, 2 May.

The band will bring the curtain down on another successful winter season for Ischgl, which opened at the end of November with a concert by James Blunt and the launch of the new €40 million Pardatschgratbahn cablecar.

Thirty Seconds To Mars, comprising brothers Jared and Shannon Leto and Tomo Miličević, will perform songs from songs from their latest album Love, Lust, Faith + Dreams. They will play at 2,300m at 1pm on 2 May on a stage stage that has rocked with other international greats including Robbie Williams, Elton John, Kylie Minogue and Deep Purple.

Entry to the concert at Ischgl’s ski hub of Idalp is free with a valid lift pass – a day pass for 2 May is €85.

Last season, some of the Where to Ski and Snowboard team travelled to Ischgl to see Robbie Williams and enjoy the best closing season party in the Alps. Read our blog here.
