The Big Snow Festival, launched in Andorra in 2010, will be back for more music mania and on-slope action in 2011.

Tickets are now on sale for second Big Snow Festival, scheduled to take place in Arinsal from 13-20th March 2011. It’s a week-long event, showcasing some of Europe’s top DJ’s and bands. New for 2011 will be the Big Snow Paddy’s Day Street Party.

Returning visitors can take advantage of a special booking rate. Event packages start at £399 for bed and breakfast accommodation, and include entrance to the event (a wristband is required, though this can be purchased separately). Flights are available from Gatwick or Manchester. If you fly into Barcelona, Spain, there are dedicated coach transfers available to get you to the resort on Sunday 13 March (co-ordinating with daytime flights). Arrivals on other days need to make independent arrangements.

The event attracted huge crowds to the Pyrenean resort last winter, keen to enjoy the combination of a lively spring celebration and gentle Andorran slopes - many visitors to the resort are novice skiers and boarders. Festival organiser Ian Kaye said: ‘Arinsal is the perfect resort offering guests great value for money and feedback from year one has been incredible. It’s a totally inclusive event that delivers fantastic music and great fun and we can’t wait for March to arrive!’
