Brit school expands into Megeve

4th September 2009, by Chris Gill

Skiers and boarders heading for Megève will get the chance to polish their skills at a Brit-inspired ski school, when a new branch of the British Alpine Ski School (BASS) opens there this winter.

BASS have outfits in a number of resorts, including Chamonix and Morzine in France and St Moritz in Switzerland. Their aim is to offer small groups and high quality tuition - while making the experience innovative and fun. You can choose from a range of classes from beginner to race training, off-piste and performance courses. And there’s the bonus of English-speaking instructors.

From 2009/10 the company will operate from Megève too, led by a British instructor who has taught in the resort for the past five years. The school will also cover the connecting ski sectors - including St Gervais, and unconnected Les Contamines.
