Skiers and boarders looking to visit Canada this winter may be interested in a few novelties from tour operator Canadian Affair.

The company has recently released its new 2010/11 winter brochure, including early booking offers that save money for families.

Book before 15 November and there are various ‘kids ski free’ deals, at certain resorts, as well as free nights and ‘free’ skiing stays. In addition to their booking offers, the company has extended its range of accommodation in resorts such as Big White, Banff and Kicking Horse. And the ‘Ski As You Please’ programme allows guests to combine visits to resorts, using one lift pass. So, you could try a twin centre holiday at Revelstoke and Kicking Horse, for example.

There is quite a bit happening at the resorts this winter too: with a new lift at Sunshine Village, more terrain to explore at Kicking Horse and family fun areas at Silver Star and Big White - plus improved terrain parks. And Canadian Affair has also improved connections to Big White: the company has announced an air partnership with the Canada based West Jet Airlines. This allows passengers using the bi weekly Canadian Affair charter into Calgary the ability to purchase through fares on West Jet to Kelowna.

Jim Lloyd, Big White and Silver Stars sales director commented, ‘This provides both an opportunity to utilize low cost services from the UK and add additional seat capacity to Kelowna and access to our two resorts in the Okanagan.’
