Club Med is opening a new flagship family resort in Samoëns this coming winter. The 420-room ski-in, ski-out Grand Massif Samoëns will offer something hugely different to the small French ski resort that offers access to the Grand Massif ski area.

Club Med specialises in all-inclusive holidays and this new accommodation in Morillon Resort on the Plateau des Saix will feature indoor and outdoor heated swimming pools, childcare from four months 17 years, a selection of restaurants and a spa.

Samoëns is a traditional, attractive traffic-free village just an hour’s drive from Geneva airport. Its ski area is part of the Grand Massif, which offers 265km of pistes from 700m to 2120m, some of which are wooded.

The four-trident Club Med resort will be ski-in, ski-out with 360-degree views of the surrounding mountains. All-inclusive prices for adults will start at £1,241pp — a saving of 15 per cent for skiers who book early.
