Cosmos Holidays has launched a ski and snowboard programme for the first time ever this week, as news of a revival of fortunes in the British ski industry was revealed.

Over the coming winter season, Cosmos will take skiers and snowboarders to a range of popular ski resorts across Austria, France and Italy — the top three favourite destinations for British skiers. The holiday company has teamed up with its sister company Monarch Airlines and will offer short breaks as well as seven-night trips to the Alps, with a range of accommodation and different board bases.

They will fly into Grenoble, Munich, Friedrichshafen, Innsbruck, Verona and Venice from Leeds Bradford, Manchester, Birmingham, Luton and Gatwick. Cosmos will offer such resorts as Kitzbühel, Les Deux Alps and Söll.

Neil Garner, Cosmos Head of Product commented: “By using the Monarch flights from key UK airports with a good selection of accommodation in popular ski areas, we have launched a great value ski programme for our customers. Packaged with transfers, we have handpicked a wide choice of ski accommodation and resorts to suit a range of customers from complete beginners to advanced skiers.”

Skiers and snowboarders can book this winter’s holidays with a deposit of just £59, and if they do so before 30 September ski and board carriage is half price. For more information visit cosmos.co.uk
