Deer Valley Resort in Utah is offering some good savings on low-season lodging from now until 9 February.

If you plan to hit the slopes in Utah this season, you could save up to 25% on selected accommodation packages and lift passes. In March, the packages are available with a 15% saving. And children requiring a two-day or more pass will also save on the full cost too.

Movie star skiing

The Sundance Film Festival kicks off in January too, and Deer Valley is offering a ‘buy three nights and get a fourth for free’ deal – also on selected properties and from 17 January to 9 February. Every year the Sundance Festival showcases 200 films from more than 9,000 submissions; there are screenings in Park City, Salt Lake City, Sundance and Ogden – so it makes an interesting off-the-slopes night out, with a festival atmosphere.

Sundance Resort is owned and skied by movie star, Robert Redford. It offers 450 acres of slopes in an attractive setting.
