Delta launches direct LHR-Utah flight

The ski resort of Park City is less than an hour's drive from Salt Lake City in Utah
British skiers will be able to fly directly from London to Utah next winter, thanks to a new flight from Delta.
A non-stop service from Heathrow to Salt Lake City in Utah will be launched by Delta on 2 January 2020, offering access to nine different ski resorts, including Park City, Alta, Snowbird and Deer Valley. The service will run seven days a week and operate until March. Many of the ski resorts are less than an hour’s drive from the airport.
A new US$3billion airport opens in Salt Lake City in 2020. As well as access to Utah resorts, Salt Lake City has connections to more than 50 regional airports in the US and Canada — making reaching other resort including Jackson Hole in Wyoming and Sun Valley in Idaho a lot easier.
The winter route has been tried before — in January 2017, but it only lasted a couple of months.
