Ellis Brigham is again collecting winter clothing for homeless charities

Have you got any old down jackets hanging around not being used? Mountain sports retailer Ellis Brigham is again collecting winter clothing in London, Manchester and Glasgow to donate to homeless charities.

If you have down-filled items such as jackets, gilets and sleeping bags, as well as base layers, outdoor trousers, fleeces and hats, drop them off at any one of six Ellis Brigham stores and they will be put to great use.

Mark Brigham, marketing director of Ellis Brigham said “Our 2nd Life initiative aims to protect homeless people from the elements by providing them with good quality, redundant kit, whilst reducing the environmental impact of sending clothes to landfill. It just makes sense - from both a social and environmental view point.”

If you don’t live near an Ellis Brigham store, a quick call or email to the Ellis Brigham customer services department will arrange collection — 0808 164 0600 or email us at .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address)
