Dual slalom fun in Tignes

Tignes, France
If you and your chums are in Tignes over the Easter holidays and fancy taking part in a friendly competition, the Ski Club of Great Britain is running a new event open to all: the Dual Slalom.
The Dual Slalom will take place on Wednesday 7 April and is a team event, where groups of four skiers or boarders can have a go at a slalom course – with or without fancy dress. What’s more, it’s all about having a laugh with a friendly bunch of like-minded folk:
‘We know how people like to get involved in races and we felt a dual slalom would be perfect to get the competitive juices flowing for skiers and snowboarders of all standards. It is not only a race but also a chance to mingle, don your best fancy dress, win prizes and party into the evening’.
Following the race there will be an après-ski party in the Loop Bar in Tignes Le Lac, with cheap drinks, games and dancing.
To join in the fun, the race will be held by the Tichot lift in Val Claret from 1pm to 3pm. To enter: Ski Club reps will be available in resort (Alpaka Lodge) evenings from 4 April from 6.15-7.15pm. Or you can enter on the day.
