High French resorts are some of the best places to be late season, especially given this year’s good snowfalls. Chalet operator Ski Amis is discounting all remaining rooms in its properties for the rest of March, but in particular for Easter week.

SAVE up to £350pp on the original chalet prices in La Tania, up to £320pp in La Plagne and Les Menuires and £310pp in Les Arcs for the week beginning 7 April.

In La Tania, two chalets have space with the company’s Premium service applied. These are Chalet Balkiss (sleeps 14) and Chalet Elliott (highly recommended by WTSS and sleeping two groups of eight – or a single group of 16). The original price was £799pp, reduced to £449pp – a huge saving of £350pp. The resort gives access to the big Trois Vallées domain, so there should be ample skiing for a late break. It’s quiet and pleasant for families, neat for small groups of friends or anyone else wanting a quiet and convenient base.

Four other Ski Amis chalets in the resort have space on the same dates. Cheapest is Chalet Christine, sleeping 28 people – prices from £369pp (adults), £299pp (child).

In La Plagne, one premium chalet has availability, Chalet Anniek is reduced from £749 to £429pp. Neighbour Les Arcs has one chalet with space, the Sermoz (£449pp).

Les Menuires is a good alternative to Val Thorens, both offering high altitude skiing. Ski Amis has two chalets in Les Menuires from £369pp on 7 April.

If you are hoping to get away sooner than April, there are rooms available in all the same resorts at £249pp (adult) for departures on 10 March and £299pp for 17 March.
