Klagenfurt offers accss to around 40 different ski resorts including Nassfeld

The airline easyJet has launched a new route to southern Austria that will be benefit skiers this winter. The flight from London Gatwick to Klagenfurt in Carinthia, will open up access to around 40 different Austrian ski resorts including Nassfeld, Heiligenblut and Bad Kleinkirchheim.

EasyJet will begin flying to Carinthia in the middle of December — with one-way prices starting at £32.49. Klagenfurt is a pretty Austrian city hemmed in by mountains, forests, and lakes, with close access to around 40 ski resorts.

The winter-only service will operate once per week on Saturday on an A320 aircraft and easyJet expects to carry 4,500 passengers in its first winter of operation with fares starting from £32.49, one way.

One of those ski resorts, Nassfeld, will this winter be offered by Crystal Ski Holidays which will be taking advantage of the new route to Klagenfurt.
