Swiss ski resort Crans-Montana is holding its European singles weekend later this month

Single, want to go skiing and determined to find love this year? The Swiss ski resort of Crans-Montana is running its European singles week Snowgether later this month, with the hope of match-making winter sports fans around Europe.

From 20 to 23 January, like-minded skiers from the UK, Spain, Germany, Italy and France will enjoy four days of slope time, snowshoeing, snow biking, husky sled rides, ice skating (and much more) during the day and match-making parties at night. The event is held in collaboration with Meetic Europe, the continent’s leading internet dating service. The event was first held in 2016 when 152 singles (57% men and 43% women) from nine countries — the UK, Netherland, Belgium, Sweden, Norway, France, Switzerland, Germany and Italy took part.

When you sign up for Snowgether, the system will allow users to see who else has signed up for each activity, so people get to meet like-minded souls interested in the same things.

The weekend costs CHF498 (about £395 on today’s exchange rate) including accommodation in a central three-star hotel in central Crans-Montana, a range of daytime activites, a 4pm aperitif drink every day as well as dinners, parties and a goodie bag.

While ski passes and equipment are not included, attendees will receive 20% standard prices within resort. Flights and transfers are also not included.
