Free lift tickets at the Ski and Snowboard Show

Visitors to this year’s Ski and Snowboard Show in London can claim a free day’s lift pass at one of six top resorts.

Verbier, Chamonix, Tremblant, Aosta Valley, Mount Washington and Norway are offering day lift passes to visitors who book tickets to the show in Earls Court from Wednesday 31 October to Sunday 4 November.

There are 10,000 2012/2013 lift passes to give away.

Where to Ski and Snowboard thinks the offer represents quite a bargain. A full-priced adult ticket to the Ski and Snowboard Show costs £20, less than half the price of a Verbier day pass, which costs CHF64 (£42.46 at today’s exchange rate of 1.51CHF to £1).

Nancy Pelissier of VERBIER St-Bernard said: “It’s an opportunity for us to thank our loyal UK customers and to attract new clients who would like to discover the extreme alpine experience the region is offering.”

Damian Norman, managing director of VOS Media, which runs the Ski and Snowboard Show, said the promotion is one of the biggest VOS Media has been a part of.

“At a time when purse strings are tight, we want to help to lower the cost of a trip to the mountain. We really feel it will go a long way in making skiing and snowboarding more accessible for the British public.”

Resorts from around the world will be exhibiting at the show, which also features live ice sculpting, curling lanes, ice skating and the Warren Smith Skills Slopes.
