Free ski lessons on offer in Chamonix

Courses in ski touring and off-piste in Chamonix are available on this amazing offer

The legendary French ski resort of Chamonix is offering free lessons and ski courses for beginners, intermediate and expert skiers, over specific dates this winter.

The group lessons and courses can be taken for up to six days and are available between 7 January and 4 February and from 7 March to 1 April 2022. To qualify, skiers must book commercial accommodation in the Chamonix Valley — so rental properties, tourist residences and hotels in Servoz, les Houches, Argentière, Chamonix and Vallorcine apply. Privately rented homes on AirBnN, booking.com and similar will NOT apply.

Then, you can book lessons in downhill, off-piste, ski touring, cross-country and something called snow garden for children, by contacting a Chamonix ski school partner Evolution 2 or ESF Les Houches, Chamonix, Argentière and Vallorcine. Bookings can be made up until three days before you wish to start and they are subject to availability — suggesting that the earlier you book, the better.

Incredibly, everyone staying in the accommodation is eligible for the offer — so whole families could benefit from the free ski lessons. Ski equipment and ski pass are not included in the offer, and lessons are for three people or more, not individual.
