Free skiing at The Snow Centre

The Snow Centre at Hemel Hempstead is offering free ski and snowboard taster sessions

We’re dangerously close to the end of the ski season — but that’s no reason so stop enjoying snowsports. Or so says The Snow Centre at Hemel Hempstead, which next month celebrates its fifth birthday.

Between 1 May and 5 May, the Snow Centre is holding a series of events to celebrate its fifth birthday — starting with a charity fundraising evening and including free skiing and snowboarding 15-minute taster sessions on the Mayday bank holiday (5 May) and signature and riding sessions with British Winter Olympic freestyler Jamie Nicholls.

As well as the free 15-minute ski and snowboard taster sessions there are £5 sledging sessions and Burton Riglet specialists to equip children under seven to try snowboarding for the first time.
